Telugu Samskruthika Niketanam, Visakhapatnam’s History and Architecture
N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated Telugu Samskruthika Niketanam in 2015. It features a white domed building with beautiful Kalamkari art work paintings on the walls.
The entrance room, which houses over 70 portraits, features images of famous Telugu personalities who were born and raised in the state. Among them are Prime Ministers, Chief Ministers, freedom fighters, poets, and Jnanpith and Dadasaheb Phalke Awardees.
Another highlight of this museum is its rotating table, which allows visitors to view a 58-minute audio-video presentation that provides an in-depth look at how the Telugu language came to be.
Around 200 sculptures have been added to the collection, including Tirupati Temple, Mosque, Amaravati region, Hyderabad, Telugu Thali, Coins, Thousand Pillar Temple, Poetess Molla, and others.Aside from that, there are ten Lepakshi paintings that are absolutely stunning and worth seeing.
