The city of Visakhapatnam’s police commissioner, Manish Kumar Sinha, has claimed that security in the city has been increased in preparation for the Indian Navy’s MILAN 2022.
On Friday, Collector A Mallikarjun inspected the safety and security, as well as the traffic arrangements, along Beach Road.
Later, when speaking to the media, the Commissioner claimed that “4000 police officers have been deployed to manage traffic in the city.”Approximately one lakh people are expected to attend Milan-2022 live.In this sense, city traffic restrictions are enforced on Saturday and Sunday.
Traffic restrictions are being enforced from RK beach coastal battery junction to Park hotel junction from afternoon 3 to night 07:30.From Collectorate to naval coast battery,from naval coast battery to park hotel,from siripuram to chinna waltair along park hotel way,from siripuram junction to all India radio junction along NTR statue way,All India radio junction to Pandurangapuram down,from St Aloysius school junction to naval coastal battery,from pandimetta junction to novotel,from century clutch to novotel,no one is permitted unless they have their pass with them.
Two wheelers and four wheelers who travel from MVP,the parking of vehicles are allowed to park at collector office junction,zilla parishad junction on the way to Andhra University medical college ground,jubilee ground opposite to AMCOSA.The visitors are advised to go to the enclosures at beach without coming to the beach from collector office junction and naval coast battery.
Those who don’t have passes have to park their vehicles at VUDA park,MGM park and can go to the gallery that is arranged at the shore.After the show completion,the visitors can return back in the same way they came.
Residents of beachfront apartments, hotel personnel, and customers are asked not to observe the event from their rooftops for security reasons, and instead to visit the galleries set up to view the performance.
