GVMC Horticulture Department is establishing Zen parks in Visakhapatnam to add to the city’s beauty
The GVMC Horticulture Department is establishing parks in Visakhapatnam to add to the city’s beauty. In each zone, parks with full resources and facilities are being made open to the general public. Zen park has grown out of a 2,500-square-meter barren site near the GVMC Commissioner Bunglow in Zone-3 Range Waltair Upland.
The park was built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh to cater to VIP Road’s regular shopping. With waterfalls, swans, and mushroom patterns, it’s rather impressive. Meditation and yoga have been given special attention. GVMC Horticulture Adi Damodar oversaw these projects. The Zen Park will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to Mayor Golagani Harivenkatakumari. Parks are being created on vacant GVMC sites throughout the city, according to the mayor, in accordance with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s roadmap to offer entertainment and health to the people of Visakhapatnam.
