Vuda Tenneti Beach Park is a Visakhapatnam urban park. This park overlooks the Bay of Bengal and is located on Jodugullapalem’s Beach Road. Tenneti Park has recently been renovated to make it more tourist friendly.
Cyclone Hudhud ripped through the city, destroying Tenneti Beach Park. North American Gitam Alumni formed together and donated around 60 lakh rupees to help renovate the park. As a result, the park was renovated to international standards, and the coastline’s greenery was restored to its former glory. This park is said to be the city’s first children’s park, and it is also one of Visakhapatnam’s oldest parks.
Tenetti Viswanadham is a well-known political figure and freedom fighter in Visakhapatnam, and the park is named after him. Tenneti Beach Park has a statue of the politician, which can be seen as soon as you enter through the main gate.

The elegant yellow gate that leads past the parking lot should not deceive you about the park’s vast size. The paths lead into the park and down to the shoreline. The park’s beauty is enhanced by a massive circular rock structure in the centre. The beach at Tenneti Park has a stairway that leads straight down to the water’s edge, where you can watch beautiful sunsets and surf.
