AP Imposes Night Curfew from today in Vizag city
‘Night Curfew would be implemented in the City Police Commissionerate limits from Tuesday night,’ said Vizag City Police Commissioner Manish Kumar Sinha. In this regard, a special police force has been deployed in the city. Picket lines have been set up in the city’s most crowded areas. Apart from highways, stoppers boards are placed at traffic junctions to prevent vehicles from entering the city during the curfew period.
From 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., curfew will be implemented. Only emergency vehicles are permitted to enter the city during the curfew period. Those who disagree with the curfew’s restrictions and regulations will face charges under the Vehicles Act.
Staff of government and private hospitals, media persons, staff of petrol bunks, water supply workers, sanitation workers, and government officers are allowed to work during the curfew, according to government orders. At the time of curfew, these people should have their ID cards with them. Only those who have their tickets with them are permitted to travel to the railway station, airport, or bus station.
