Visakhapatnam Police Kept strict Restrictions on New Year’s celebrations on December 31
On the eve of New Year’s celebrations on December 31, 2021, Visakhapatnam Police has the following Rules and regulations
Traffic is prohibited in the areas of RK Beach, Jodugulla Palem Beach, Rushikonda Beach, and Yarada Beach from night 08:00 p.m.
All beach roads from NCB to Bheemili are closed to vehicles from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
From 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., the Telugu Talli and NAD flyovers are closed.
From 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the main road of BRTS from Hanumanthawaka to Adivivaram Junction, Gosahala Junction to Vepagunta Junction, Pendurthi Junction to NAD Junction, and Pendurthi Junction to NAD Junction will be blocked.The service road can be used by emergency vehicles from both sides of the junctions.
From 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the main route of BRTS Road of Maddilapalem to Rama Talkies junction, as well as the underground pass at RTC Complex, will be closed.
Two-wheelers travelling at high speeds, driving while drunk, or creating loud noises will be subject to legal action by the police.
Restaurants, bars, hotels, and shops must close according to the government’s timeline.
Citizens of the city are not permitted to hold any events in public spaces, and public gatherings must be avoided at all costs.
Due to the ongoing Covid issue, residents of the city are asked to follow the police department’s rules and regulations and to stay.
