Vuda Park lits up with new renovations – opened by CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy
VMRDA Park (also known as VUDA Park) was officially opened by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday. He also dedicated different works undertaken under the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation’s (GVMC) Smart City initiative, which cost Rs. 61 crore and were completed at various locations throughout the city.
The development works completed at a cost of Rs 33.50 crore in VMRDA Park, the Multi Level Semi Automatic car parking constructed at Jagadamba junction,among the projects launched by the Chief Minister were the development works at the MVD High School in Dandu Bazaar, which cost Rs 4.65 crore, the Heritage building Town Hall, which cost Rs 4.24 crore, and the Old Municipal Office, which cost Rs 7.16 crore.
The Chief Minister then toured the VMRDA Park, inspecting the recently finished projects. He also unveiled the Trophy for the YSR Cup Cricket Tournament, which will begin on December 21 and will be hosted by Rajya Sabha Member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy.

Bhagyalakshmi, Adeep Raj, Kannababu Raju, VMRDA Chairperson A. Nirmala, Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari, ZP Chairperson Subhadra, Collector A. Mallikarjuna, GVMC Commissioner Lakshmisha, VMRDA Commissioner Venkata Ramana Reddy, Joint Collectors M. Venugopal Reddy and P. Arun Babu.
