CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurate various facilities in Vizag On December 17
On December 17, 2021, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is going to pay a visit to Vizag. He will be inaugurating projects in the city by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) and the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) as part of his visit.
The Chief Minister is expected to arrive in the port city at 5 p.m. on Friday and then proceed to NAD junction at 05:20 PM to inaugurate the flyover and six other VMRDA projects (VMRDA).
The Chief Minister will attend a programme at the Andhra University convention centre, which is located near NAD junction.
VUDA Park, as well as four other Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation developments, were later inaugurated by Y S Jagan at 06:20 PM.
GVMC & VMRDA projects that the Chief Minister is expected to officially inaugurate include the Waste-to-Energy Processing Plant at Kapuluppada, value of Rs. 280 crore, the Multi-Level Car Parking Project at Jagadamba Junction, value of Rs. 11 crore, and the renovated VUDA Park, near Beach Road, value of Rs. 33 crore. The aforementioned projects were also set to be inaugurated when the Chief Minister (CM) was scheduled to visit Vizag on October 23, 2021, but the visit was delayed at the last moment.
In addition, the Chief Minister will attend the Vizianagaram DCCB Chairman, N Naidu Babu’s daughter, Divya Naidu wedding celebration at 06:00 PM and at 07:00 PM will be attending the wedding reception of Vice President’s granddaughter before departing from Visakhapatnam Airport at 7:55 p.m. for Gannavaram.
Meanwhile, District Collector A Mallikarjuna has directed all relevant officials to make all required preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit. The Collector toured the airport, NAD flyover, VMRDA Park, and other locations with Commissioner of Police Manish Kumar Sinha, and instructed officials to make appropriate arrangements. In attendance were GVMC Commissioner G Lakshmisha, Joint Collector M Venugopal Reddy, and RDO Penchala Kishore.
