Defence Products Exhibition at BDL in Visakhapatnam inaugurate by Defence Minister Rajanth
At exhibitions in Vizag, BDL displays its products.
As part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to honour India’s 75th anniversary, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) is hosting a product display at its Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam locations.
Models of anti-tank guided missiles, surface-to-air missiles, air-to-air missiles, missile launchers, and underwater weaponry are on display as part of the public sector project.
The exhibition, which began on Monday with a virtual opening by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, will run through December 19. It is open to the general public at Visakhapatnam Unit as well as Kanchanbagh,Hyderabad, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
BDL Chairman and Managing Director Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd) said, “This is the first time BDL is showcasing a wide range of items at its premises, which are available to the general public.”
BDL is displaying both its existing and future goods. It is also facilitating visits by high school and college students in order to assist them learn about the fundamentals of applied science employed in the goods on show by interacting with technical teams.
Only valid government-issued ID cards will be permitted entry to these venues. Students with valid school or college identification are permitted.
