Vizag Zoo to conduct summer camp for children from May 23
Children’s summer camp will begin on May 23 at the Vizag Zoo
From May 23 to June 2, the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park will host a summer camp for students aged five to eighteen in two batches.
The camp, which will take place from May 23 to 27, is open to youngsters aged five to eleven years old, according to IGZP Curator Nandani Salaria. The second class (12-18 years) will attend the camp from May 29 to June 2.
It would be an offline interactive programme in which children would learn about the importance of nature, wildlife protection, and wild animal management in the city zoo. Students would also take classes on the zoo’s animal world, animal behaviour studies, animal management, animal veterinary care, and butterfly raising.
