Anna Neha Thomas, a second-year BSc Computer Science student and NCC cadet at SITAM College, has been chosen to march in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26.
Being a part of the R Day parade, Anna added, was an incredible experience. She described the selection process as consisting of five rounds of intense competition. Punctuality, discipline, drill precision, attitude, and hobby excellence (Kuchipudi) were all carefully evaluated. She is currently receiving final training with the NCC Directorate in New Delhi.
It is a great moment for the people of Vizianagaram because she is one of just two girls from Andhra Pradesh to be chosen. SITAM’s director stated that the organisation was proud of Neha’s accomplishment. Dr Ramamurthy, the principal of SITAM, praised Anna Neha for her achievement.
