 Rushikonda has become a hub for Sea Adventures. Rushikonda offers a variety of activities that are not available elsewhere in the state. Rushikonda is more attractive due to its large seashore, stones into the depths of the sea, and other factors. To attract tourists, the tourism department has made speed boats, kayaking boats, and scuba diving available.
Scuba diving is now offered in Vizag’s Rushikonda beach, which is also available in Pudichery, Goa, Karnataka, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kerala. It was first launched seven years ago in Rushikonda. For half an hour, one can get into the sea by scuba diving. Air will be compressed and pumped into the Scuba cylinder, which will last up to one and a half hours.
Wearing a web suit allows the human body to adjust to the temperatures of the water. Scuba diving is permitted up to a depth of 25 to 39 feet, 3 kilometres from the beach. The organisers will attach cameras to the suit so that they may film the adventures, different animals, and different species under the sea. Scuba diving can only be done by one person at a time with one instructor.
The BCD (Boyens Control Device) is a device that allows you to go forward and backward underwater. Underwater breathing will be made easier with the use of a regulator. Pins affixed to the legs will make it easier to enter the sea. Scuba masks are worn to keep water out of the nose while viewing sea creatures and adventures beneath the sea.
Kayaking boats take you out on the sea for a half-kilometer ride away from the beach. Kayaking can be done for 40 minutes in the morning, between 05:30 AM and 08:30 PM, at the time of sunrise. There are also speedboats available. AP Tourism Sea Adventures is in charge of organising these adventures. At the control room at Rushikonda beach, one can pay fixed fees to enjoy these activities.
