Development Projects of Rs 300 Crore value in Visakhapatnam were inaugurated by CM YS Jagan
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled ten development projects in the city totaling Rs 300 crore on Friday.The NAD flyover, built at a cost of Rs 150 crore, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, who reached here at 4:30 p.m.
From the NAD Junction venue, he virtually inaugurated the Rs 7.60 crore commercial complex at Pithapuram Colony, the Rs 7.55 crore 9-kilometer road from Anandapuram Junction to Boni, the Rs 7.50 crore Pedarushikonda beach master plan road, the Rs 6.97 crore Visakha valley double-lane road, the Rs 5.15 crore Kalyana Mandapam at ChinaMushidiwada, and the Rs 1.56 crore community hall at Dharma Nagar.
He also dedicated the VMRDA Park, which was refurbished at a cost of Rs 33.50 crore as part of the smart city initiative by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.
He virtually inaugurated a multi-level semi-automatic car parking facility at Jagadamba Junction with Rs 11.45 crore, a restored VMAD School in Dandu Bazar with Rs 4.56 crore, a heritage town hall with Rs 4.24 crore, and an old municipal office building with Rs 7.16 crore. After launching the development projects, Jagan took a tour around the VMRDA Park.
He also unveiled the trophy for the YSR Cup Cricket Tournament, which will take place on December 21 and will be hosted by YSRC MP V Vijayasai Reddy. Later, Jagan attended the AU Convention Centre for the wedding celebration of Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu’s granddaughter and the daughter of Vizianagaram DCCB Chairman N Naidu Babu.
The VMRDA Park, rebuilt at a cost of Rs 33.50 crore as part of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation’s smart city plan, was inaugurated by CM Jagan.
To relieve traffic jams, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy virtually opened a multi-level semi-automatic automobile parking facility at the Jagadamba Junction, which cost Rs 11.45 crore.
