Baavikonda Buddha Bhavan is nearing completion at the Thimmapuram entrance. The Central Tourism Department’s Swadeshi Darshan is building this Bhavan with a budget of Rs 2.20 crores and a floor area of 5000 square feet.
Interior design, landscaping, tiling, electricity, and furniture are some of the works that have still to be completed. Restaurant, souvenir, AV room, reception, lockers, and rest facilities are all located within the bhavan.
Kishan Reddy, the Central Tourism Minister, and Mutthamsetty SrinivasRao, the State Tourism Minister, both came to inspect the work and give orders to finish it as quickly as possible so that it may be made available to visitors.
