History of GVMC
Visakhapatnam Municipality was set up in the year 1979 is one of the oldest planning commissions in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation include total of 32 villages surrounding by Visakhapatnam. Later by merghing of Bheemili, Anakapalle, 10 gram panchayats included in GVMC Visakhapatnam.
