Translumina to set up Asia’s largest heart valve manufacturing facility At AMTZ Vizag
The foundation stone for Asia’s Largest Heart Valve Manufacturing Facility was laid at the Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone (AMTZ) in Vizag by Translumina, a global developer and manufacturer of breakthrough cardiovascular medical devices used in interventional cardiology.
“Entering the market for Transcatheter valves is a source of great pride for all of us. We’ve teamed up with some of the world’s best institutions and doctors to develop next-generation heart valve technologies that will help patients with a wide range of valve disorders achieve better clinical outcomes at a lower cost “Translumina’s MD and Co-Founder, Gurmit Singh Chugh, shared his opinions.
“We expect to finish the plant by December 2022, with more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and cutting-edge equipment and infrastructure,” stated Punita Sharma Arora, Translumina’s Co-Founder.
