Sree Sampath Vinayagar Temple in Visakhapatnam has a long history
Sree Sampath Vinayagar Temple was founded in 1962 by the owners of S.G. Sambandan & Co., who used their own money to build the temple. The sole purpose of this temple’s construction was to provide a location where they could offer their prayers and remove the Vaastu Dosha at any time of day.
Soon after, the local fishermen began to come to this temple on a daily basis to seek blessings for the health of their businesses before going to the market. They witnessed a few miracles in their lives while doing so, and as a result, they continued to practise deep aradhana for the sake of their future well-being. Sri Chandrasekharan Saraswati renovated the holy site five years later and individually equipped the presiding deity.
